Abstract: isela-inia is a mid season ripening table grape (vitis vinifera l.) cultivar released by the table grape breeding program at the la platina research centre of the national agricultural research institute, santiago, chile. the berries are medium-sized, seedless, green, firm and flavor-full. giberellic acid combined with girdling can be employed for thinning so as to increase berries size. it usually shows two clusters per shoot, so one cluster can be removed. some shoulders must be removed in order to improve fruit presentation; this thinning must be done before the veraison, to avoid bruising. it ripens before ?thompson seedless?. post harvest life in good conditions can last up to 45 days at 0oc.

Abstract: the goal of the table grape (vitis vinifera l.) breeding program of the instituto de investigaciones agropecuarias (inia), centro regional de investigación la platina, is to obtain new varieties with good quality, high yield, large berry size and long post harvest life. in stenospermocarpic seedless cultivars premature abortion of developing seeds occurs. however, with the embryo rescue technique and in vitro culture, it is possible to use seedless cultivars as mothers. the aim of this work was to study cultivar effect whether pollinating or mother, on the percentage of plantlets per ovule obtained through this technique. the results of crosses made during five years among seven cultivars and their reciprocal crosses were analyzed. the main factor affecting the yield of embryos per ovule and plantlets per embryos was the variety used as mother. the cultivars ruby seedless and red seedless showed the highest percentage of embryos/ovule, with 68 and 40%, respectively. on the other hand, superior and black seedless produced only 30% of embryos per ovule. the mean percentage of plantlets per embryo obtained varied between 10.5% for black seedless x superior to 81.3% for ruby seedless x flame seedless.

Abstract: Ilusión-INIA es una variedad muy temprana de uva de mesa (Vitis vinifera L.) liberada por el Programa de Mejoramiento Genético de Uva de Mesa del Centro Regional de Investigación La Platina del Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias, Santiago. Las bayas son de tama o medio a grande, verdes, firmes, de un suave sabor moscatel. Un 50% de las bayas presentan semillas, este porcentaje disminuye a 10 a 20% con aplicaciones de ácido giberélico de raleo. La variedad responde al anillado y al ácido giberélico para aumentar el tama o de las bayas. Normalmente produce dos racimos por brote, por lo que uno de ellos puede ser removido. Madura antes que ‘Perlette’. Es necesario hacer arreglo de racimos entresacando hombros para mejorar la presentación de la fruta. En postcosecha puede permanecer hasta 25 a 30 días a 0oC en buenas condiciones. Abstract: El propósito del mejoramiento genético de uva de mesa (Vitis vinifera L.) en el Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIA), Centro Regional de Investigación La Platina, es la obtención de nuevas variedades de alta calidad, alto rendimiento, buen calibre y larga vida de postcosecha. En uvas estenospermocárpicas ocurre el aborto prematuro de las semillas en desarrollo. Sin embargo, mediante el cultivo de semillas inmaduras y rescate de embriones es posible utilizar variedades apirenas como madres. El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar el efecto de la variedad utilizada ya sea como polinizante o madre, en los cruzamientos sobre el rendimiento de plantas por óvulo. Se analizaron los resultados de cruzamientos de cinco temporadas, de siete variedades utilizadas como madres y sus cruzamientos recíprocos. El rendimiento en número de embriones por semilla y plantas por embriones estuvo afectado principalmente por la variedad utilizada como madre. Variedades como Ruby Seedless y Red Seedless presentaron alto porcentaje de formación de embriones por semilla sembrada, sobre 68 y 40%, respectivamente. En cambio, en Superior o Black Seedless, el porcentaje de embriones rescatado por semilla alcanzó sólo al 30%. El rendimiento promedio de plantas por embriones varió entre un 10,5% en Black Seedless x Superior y un 81,3% en Ruby Seedless x Flame Seedless. Abstract: Isela-INIA es una variedad de uva de mesa (Vitis vinifera L.) de maduración intermedia liberada por el Programa de Mejoramiento Genético de Uva de Mesa del Centro Regional de Investigación La Platina, del Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias, Santiago, Chile. Las bayas son de tama o medio a grande, sin semilla, verdes, firmes, de un suave sabor moscatel. La variedad responde al ácido giberélico para raleo y para aumentar el tama o de las bayas en combinación con el anillado. Normalmente produce dos racimos por brote, por lo que uno de ellos puede ser removido. Madura antes que ‘Thompson Seedless’. Es necesario eliminar hombros al racimo para mejorar la calidad de postcosecha de la fruta. Este proceso debe ser realizado antes de la pinta para evitar manchado de la fruta. Abstract: kumpa-inia is a new winter bread wheat (triticum aestivum l.) variety derived from the exchange of germplasm between nordsaat, germany, and the instituto de investigaciones agropecuarias (inia) under the agreement with the trigen seed services. it is the result of five years of evaluation under the conditions of southern chile. kumpa-inia is a semi dwarf, long period wheat, with good resistance to stripe rust and powdery mildew, moderately resistant to leaf rust and septoria leaf blotch. its mean yield for five seasons varied between 4.74 and 15.26 t ha-1 in three locations in the southern zone. it has good quality for baking, with a good sedimentation value (38.5) and good bread volume (685 cm3).

Abstract: Kumpa-INIA es una nueva variedad de trigo (Triticum aestivum L.) de invierno para pan, introducida por intercambio de germoplasma entre Nordsaat de Alemania y el Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIA) bajo el convenio con la Trigen Seed Services. Es el resultado de cinco temporadas de evaluación bajo las condiciones del sur de Chile. Kumpa-INIA es un trigo semienano de ciclo largo, con buena resistencia al polvillo estriado y oidio, moderadamente resistente al polvillo de la hoja y septoria. Su rendimiento promedio en ensayos en cinco temporadas fluctuó entre 4,74 y 15,26 t ha-1 en tres localidades de la zona sur. Tiene buena calidad panadera, con un buen valor de sedimentación (38,5) y buen volumen de pan (685 cm3). Abstract: In this paper the importance is emphasized that has the death in the thought Georges Bataille, trying of showing the way in which the transgression abre to the being to the experience of the death. The transgression fractures the limit that draws up the prohibition beyond all Metaphysical prescription. We do not know what is the death and to think about it does not help us that is to say what this is, thus becomes the impossible thing. This impossible one does that all the space of the possible thing enters the scope of the fall of the limit, appearing the figure of the emptiness like image of the dissolution of the limit, that is finally the concurrence point where all the possible one, everything what is possible knowledge, enters in not-knowing.
