Práctica y significado del consentimiento informado en hospitales de Colombia y Chile

Abstract: Comparo el significado y la práctica del consentimiento informado (CI) en doshospitales de Colombia y Chile, mediante el método cualitativo de estudio de casos. Los resultadosempíricos los contrasté inductivamente con las tensiones, diferencias y vínculos entre los presupuestosteóricos de la bioética con los jurídicos en el período 2005-2008, en el marco de sus respectivaspolíticas públicas. Confirmé el incumplimiento del CI y el no reconocimiento de la autonomía de lospacientes y de las pacientes en la práctica del CI. Propongo como una manera de dirimir el conflictoentre los aspectos legales y bioéticos del CI, la fundamentación de un enfoque de derechos con unaperspectiva bioética, y planteo pautas a seguir durante el proceso de CI.
Non-uniform Braneworld Stars: an Exact Solution

Abstract: The first exact interior solution to Einstein's field equations for a static and non-uniform braneworld star with local and non-local bulk terms is presented. It is shown that the bulk Weyl scalar ${\cal U}(r)$ is always negative inside the stellar distribution, in consequence it reduces both the effective density and the effective pressure. It is found that the anisotropy generated by bulk gravity effect has an acceptable physical behaviour inside the distribution. Using a Reissner-N\"{o}rdstrom-like exterior solution, the effects of bulk gravity on pressure and density are found through matching conditions.
The Schwarzschild's Braneworld Solution

Abstract: In the context of the Randall-Sundrum braneworld, the minimal geometric deformation approach, which has been successfully used to generate exact interior solutions to Einstein's field equations for static braneworld stars with local and non-local bulk terms, is used to obtain the braneworld version of the Schwarzschild's interior solution. Using this new solution, the behaviour of the Weyl functions is elucidated in terms of the compactness for different stellar distributions.

Abstract: In the context of the Randall-Sundrum braneworld, an exhaustive and detailed description of the approach based in the minimal anisotropic consequence onto the brane, which has been successfully used to generate exact interior solutions to Einstein's field equations for static and non-uniform braneworld stars with local and non-local bulk terms, is carefully presented. It is shown that this approach allows the generation of a braneworld version for any known general relativistic solution.
Searching Exact Solutions for Compact Stars in Braneworld: a conjecture

Abstract: In the context of the braneworld, a method to find consistent solutions to Einstein's field equations in the interior of a spherically symmetric, static and non uniform stellar distribution with Weyl stresses is developed. This method, based in the fact that any braneworld stellar solution must have the general relativity solution as a limit, produces a constraint which reduces the degrees of freedom on the brane. Hence the non locality and non closure of the braneworld equations can be overcome. The constraint found is physically interpreted as a necessary condition to regain general relativity, and a particular solution for it is used to find an exact and physically acceptable analytical internal solution to no-uniform stellar distributions on the brane. It is shown that such an exact solution is possible due to the fact that bulk corrections to pressure, density and a metric component are a null source of anisotropic effects on the brane. A conjecture is proposed about the possibility of finding physically relevant exact solutions to non-uniform stellar distributions on the brane.
Extending the geometric deformation: New black hole solutions

Abstract: We use the extension of the Minimal Geometric Deformation approach, recently developed to investigate the exterior of a self-gravitating system in the Braneworld, to identified a master solution for the deformation undergone by the radial metric component when time deformations are produced by bulk gravitons. A specific form for the temporal deformation is used to generate a new exterior solution with a tidal charge $Q$. The main feature of this solution is the presence of higher-order terms in the tidal charge, thus generalizing the well known tidally charged solution. Abstract: an integral dynamic model of the metropolitan train type transport system is presented. the interactions between the trajectories of the trains in use and the passenger exchange between the cars and the platforms in the stations along the tracks are described. in contrast with the current traffic engineering models based on passenger flow, this model allows the simulation of passenger accumulation that occurs on the platforms when the train cannot transport the total number of passengers waiting for it. the dynamics of the metropolitan train is modeled with a hybrid system in which the platforms and the trains are considered as continuous modes and train arrival at the stations as discrete events.

Abstract: the work presented in this paper explores the posibility of using a model based on fuzzy logic and machine learning in order to maximize the profits of colombian energy trade agents according to their risk profile. the model has two parts, the first one is a fuzzy expert system that gives to these agents a recommendation about the trade strategy they should follow, and whose definition depends mainly on market conditions. the second one is a reinforced learning mechanism with which the agents ?learn? when they perceive the consequences of their actions, so they modify them looking for a reward not just in short but also in long term.
